Meet our podium. In January, we're inviting a bunch of budding entrepreneurs to climb on it and pitch themselves and their ideas, for a place on an internship programme Sidekick is launching in partnership with CIVA.

We're looking for sharp individuals with a clear commitment to making waves as digital social entrepreneurs. We want people with strong business ideas and the ability to bring them to life.

For people with the right ambition, we will provide you with desk space at Sidekick for nine months, a little bit of expertise and a continuous kick up the backside to help you achieve big things by the end of 2012.

We give you:

• Deskspace at Sidekick Studios in Old Street, London. In the thick of it, amongst the Sidekick team and our other social businesses
• 1-2 days digital and social mentoring every month by Sidekick and CIVA, covering everything from project management, marketing, strategy advice, and financial planning for sustainability
• Expenses covered/£50 per week
• Our support as a referee for any grant applications undertaken by the interns. 

In return, your challenge is to:

• Spend at least 1 day per week getting stuck into our existing social businesses. There's no better way to learn than to do.
• Develop and deliver on your own ventures through passion, dedication, hard graft and enterprise.

The deadline is 9th Jan. After that, the shortlist will be invited to pitch from our podium.

Digital social entrepreneurs arise. We have 3-4 slots to fill.
