Flamingo Field Notes
We helped Flamingo, one of the worlds largest qualitative research firms, create a new business focused on delivering research through mobiles
Vision
Flamingo, the worlds largest qualitative research company, came to us with a big idea - lets use mobile phones to turn the qualitative research process upside down and make respondents responsible for researching themselves. We thought it sounded great.
Build
We spent time with Flamingo researchers and respondents and created a clear and compelling vision for the MVP - a mobile app that sets tasks for respondents, managed by through a web app accessible only to researchers. We then built the MVP in 12 weeks.
Measure and Learn
The response from customers was been phenomenal. Flamingo returned their investment in the build stage within two months of new project sales. Working closely with the team we spent time observing how respondents and researchers were using the product to understand how to improve it.
Build
We then started to re-design and rebuild key components, designed and developed an Android version of the respondent app and created various new language versions. We also began working with Flamingo to explore - what's next?
Vision
The commercial success of Fieldnotes has been astonishing, and its clear that Fieldnotes has the potential to power a big, global business. We're now working with Flamingo to re-architect the technology and spin out the product into a new business unit with a new brand.

Buddy
Buddy is a digital tool to support therapy services. Clients use SMS to keep a daily diary of what they are doing and how they are feeling, in order to reinforce positive behaviours.
